Did You Ever Think You’d Hear “Unlimited Lobster Night”?

Lobster Night Marriott Grand Cayman

As an eastern Canadian, I would put my family to shame if I didn’t attend an unlimited lobster night. To be honest, I didn’t ever think I’d hear of unlimited lobster night; some things are just too good to be true. Yet every Wednesday night, Solana Restaurant at Marriott Grand Cayman offers an All You Can Eat Lobster Night! Their menu starts with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, a special selection of appetizers, followed by a great lobster menu and topped off with a choice of desserts. Luckily, the plates are not too large and we were able to try almost everything on the menu.

Every dish was made fresh to order and the samples were truly unlimited. Just for you, I asked for a total of 6 pieces of dessert to make sure they were actually unlimited. I know, I know. You’re welcome.

My top 3 choices were:
Caribbean Grilled Lobster with Creole Sauce
Lobster Thermidor
Rib Eye Steak served with Chimichurri Sauce
Lobster Dinner, Marriott Grand Cayman
Darren’s top picks were:
Shrimp Spring Rolls
Lobster Curry with Basmati Rice
Lobster Thermidor
Marriott Grand Cayman Lobster Night
We both loved all of the desserts so much that we had several “samples” each. The desserts included:
Sticky toffee pudding
Coconut key lime pie
Snickers bar
Lobster Night Dessert Marriott
We’re not usually into all you can eat meals because the food is usually lacking and the choices are limited, but this was a delightful experience with fresh Caribbean lobster served on one of the nicest beaches in the world. It was such a mouth-watering experience that we’re thinking about attending the Friday night Buccaneer’s Feast too. I think Marriott Grand Cayman still has tons of pleasant surprises up their sleeve.

Yes please, Lobster Mornay is a big hit in Australia. Recently got back from Fiji Islands, and had Lobster every second night, sensational food with a nice glass of sparking wine or New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

    Love the reads.
