I had high expectations for the B-Free Sport Travel System when it arrived but it is even better than I expected. It combines the safety of the Britax Endeavours Infant Car Seat with the flexibility of the B-Free stroller. The stroller is super easy to put together and the car seat is equally easy to install. Check out these 10 things I love about the B-Free Sport Travel System.
10 Things I Love About The B-Free Sport Travel System
Number 1 – Ease of Setup
The B-Free Sport is the easiest stroller that I’ve ever set up and no tools are required. I put it together at seven months pregnant with no help required. There were very few steps. The most difficult part was pulling it out of the box.
Number 2 – Safety
The Endeavours Infant Car Seat offers superior safety. The Impact-Stabilizing Steel Frame offers exceptional strength where you need it most: at the connection point to the vehicle. The SafeCell Impact Protection is an integrated system of safety components that work to protect your child beyond federal standards. The 2 Layers of Side Impact Protection, with deep foam-lined shell and quick-adjust head protection, absorb energy and shield your child from severe collisions. The Steel Anti-Rebound Bar reduces rebound rotation by up to 30% in the event of a crash. The Impact-Absorbing Base compresses to reduce the rough force of a crash. The car seat protects your precious cargo with an advanced system of safety features.
Number 3 – Storage
The B-Free has a medium-sized storage bin with a 10 lb capacity. You can access the bin from the front and the back. The canopy has two small pockets and a medium zippered pocket that can hold up to a pound collectively. The pockets are useful for smaller items like cell phones, keys, or wallet. The stroller also offers passenger stow pockets on either side of the seat. There are a total of 7 storage pockets so you can bring more baby gear or supplies.
Number 4 – Fold and Unfold
The B-free has a pull handle on the seat bottom that folds the stroller in half with only a single hand. This stroller has a push-button frame release, automatic locking feature and it self-stands.
Number 5 – Maneuverability
Thanks to 3-wheel configuration and pivoting front wheel, this stroller offers fantastic maneuverability. You will easily fit through narrow spaces. Steering and turning is very convenient, even when you use one hand. The B-Free has a swivel front wheel that you can lock in place for more control over uneven terrain. You can navigate smaller spaces and crowded areas with ease. With all-terrain rubber tires, you never have to worry about a flat.
Number 6 – Brakes
The single-action brakes operate with a small press pedal near the right wheel. They are very easy to set and release.
Number 7 – Harness
The 5-point harness is easy to adjust for fit and easy to release.
Number 8 – Seat
The B-Free seat back has a deep recline operated by a plastic toggle for comfortable napping. The toggle works with one hand to lower and two to raise providing infinite angle possibilities.
Number 9 – Quality
The B-Free stroller has a sturdy frame, nice canvas material, and thick elastic on the fold joints. The connections are solid and there is little flex in the frame when pushing the weight.
Number 10 – Expandable Canopy
The expandable canopy is one of my favorite features on the stroller. It’s enormous. The canopy offers full protection from the sun with SPF. It even has zip open panels in the center for additional coverage. When the sunshade is fully extended it covers the baby all the way down, so the only thing that sticks out are the feet. There is ventilation for airflow when the weather gets hot, and there is a mesh peek-a-boo window for easy visibility. Another awesome feature is the silent magnetic closure on the window so opening and closing doesn’t disturb your child.
B-Free Sport & Endeavours Travel System Excels in Every Aspect
The extendable canopy is the best I’ve seen. The wheels maneuver so easily that everyone from a child to a grandparent could easily push the stroller, and the handle adjusts for all heights. There are seven different storage pockets for all your gear. The safety features are above standards. From put together to put away, the B-Free Sport Travel System has it all.
