Adding Bamboo Dinnerware to My Home Decor

By: Lesley Posted in: Home Life
Bibol bamboo

In a world dominated by stone, brick, concrete, and glass, I wanted to add the natural texture of bamboo to my home decor. Bibol manufactures 100% Natural Bamboo dinnerware combining tradition, sustainable development, and fair trade. They are the perfect addition to my dining room bucket list. Bibol’s uniquely crafted bamboo dinnerware is not only beautiful and practical, but carefully handmade, each product is unique. Check out some of my favorite pieces from Bibol.

First – Why Bibol?

Each piece of Bibol tableware is handcrafted by artisans in Vietnam using sustainably harvested bamboo, water, marble powder, and natural pigment. Each piece stands on its own as a work of art. Bibol is a woman-owned company and pays its artisans fair, living wages.

All Bibol products are food safe. They can contain liquids, solids, and hot and cold food. Their lacquers and varnishes are natural as they are made without solvent nor organic volatile compound. Entirely handmade according to fair trade principles, their products may show slight variations in color or shapes as they are unique.

My Favorite Bamboo Dinnerware From Bibol

SOAI Bamboo Serving Bowl

SOAI - Bamboo Serving Bowl

The uniquely crafted SOAI Bamboo Serving Bowl is one of a kind. It’s great for serving or simply an accent piece in your home. This large asymmetrical, graceful and slender dish, gets its shape from mango. As elegant for bread as for a salad or a hot dish, SOAI can also be used as a fruits bowl. Its shape is very convenient thanks to its spout side.

BANG Flat Bamboo Plate

Likely the most versatile piece in the Bibol lineup, the BANG Flat Bamboo Plate comes in a variety of colors and is the perfect base for your dinner needs. This handmade plate will make any meal feel elevated. It creates a unique tablescape for any occasion.

TCHON Bamboo Salad Bowl

The TCHON Bamboo Salad Bowl provides a classy and chic design from top to bottom. It’s simple, chic, and great for entertainment. This generous and timeless bowl can contain salad, pasta, or any type of dish. This pure and elegant shape is available in natural, matte, lacquer, or eggshell finishes and four sizes from small to extra-large.

Breakfast Table Setting

What makes a house a home? Is it the art? The smells? The textures? I’m starting to learn that it’s a combination of things, but many of them can be found around the dining room table. We love to gather around the table in our home. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner can be a wonderful time to spend together as a family. Passing a plate of homemade goods around can feel like sharing a plate of love. Bibol’s bamboo dinnerware is the perfect canvas to house our favorite meals and make our house feel like a home.
