Baby Product Reviews

Rollin’, Rollin’, Rollin’

My daughter is no longer a baby; she’s transitioned into a kid. I don’t know when it happened, I think it was over night or today when I blinked my eyes, but there she is… a talking, running, funny kid with a unique personality all her own. Two awesome products followed us almost from birth until now with exceptional quality and durability: the Peg Perego Switch Four Modular System and the Peg Perego Siesta high chair. Peg Perego knows how to do multi-functional, quality products right. Some products are worth a little higher price tag and Peg Perego fits the mold. When I stumbled upon their toys section, I was like a kid in a candy store and I requested a Peg Perego Polaris RZR 900 jeep for review.

Here’s what I learned:
1. Peg Perego continues to make easily assembled products.
2. Peg Perego toys are just as durable as their baby products.
3. Peg Perego isn’t just for babies.
4. Playing is always more fun when you have a sidekick.
5. You become really popular in the neighborhood when you have new toys to test drive.

I thought one thing when a huge box arrived with the Polaris RZR 900 inside – maybe there are only a few parts to assemble; thankfully, I was right! The instructions had numbered images with corresponding directions and there were only about ten pieces to attach. It actually took us longer to apply the stickers to the jeep than to put the pieces together. We even charged the 12-volt rechargeable battery while we were putting it together. 30 minutes and done!

Today, our neighbors, ages 3 and 6, tested our Peg Perego Polaris RZR 900 jeep. Athena is still too young to drive the jeep, but time is flying by so quickly, I wanted to have it on hand. (Besides, having a jeep in the garage that is too big for her reminds me that I still have a baby for a little bit longer.) They drove around the yard, the sidewalk, and the street testing the multi-position accelerator, turning, braking, reversing, and hauling butt up hill. The hard plastic wheels provided super traction on the grass, dirt, gravel, and pavement. I was impressed with the durability as they drove over rocks and hills in the back yard. They only spun out once because of a muddy section of the yard that was at the base of two hills. Even with two kids inside, it still pushed up the rocky hill easily. It was a smooth ride regardless of what was below and the expression on their faces spoke a thousand words – they were loving it!

The oldest test-driver, Kaylee, is 6 years old. I wondered if she’d enjoy it as much as her younger brother, Carter, who is 3 years old. She made a few quick turns and chased me around the yard with a huge grin on her face. I asked them if they wanted to drive again tomorrow and she was the first one to speak up. I thought Peg Perego was only for babies but they are adding big kid products and toys to the mix for family fun.

The way Kaylee and Carter enjoyed the jeep together made me consider the possibility of having another child. They showed each other how to do things, they laughed, they shared the driving, and they brought more happiness to each other. It wasn’t just about trying something fun and new; it was about doing it together. If Athena stays an only child, will I be denying her that kinship? Will she find that with friends? With us? I don’t know what the future will bring but watching Kaylee and Carter drive the jeep certainly made me think about what having a brother or sister adds to your life.

The Peg Perego Polaris RZR 900 was a raging success in our neighborhood. We might possibly be the coolest adults in the community. The RZR 900 is 61 lbs of kid approved fun.

I can only find a red one on Amazon. Do you know where I can purchase the pink one?

On their website, it says, “*Available exclusively at select Walmart stores and*”, so maybe you could check your local Walmart. If you still can’t find it, let me know. Maybe I can be more helpful. Enjoy. 🙂

Before you know it, Athena will be too big for this. She’s growing so quickly.

The other kids look like they are having a great time. My daughter isn’t old enough for this yet either but Peg Perego sure does make quality stuff. Soon for us too!

It’s amazing how quickly the time goes by.

Peg Perego is my first choice in baby/kid products. They are the best quality.

How old is your daughter? Do you just have one? It’s a whole new world, right? 🙂

My daughter is 3 months tomorrow and she is our first. We already bought the stroller and high chair based on your suggestions. We will keep checking your site for other good products and advise.

This is the best Christmas gift for my niece. She’s going to love it. Awesome!

Every time Athena sees it, she gets excited. She hops in the seat and looks at me to turn it on. She is going to be a handful, always up for adventure, but I’m glad she loves it already 😉

We just ordered the John Deere version for our 3 year old son for Christmas. I think my husband is more excited than my son will be. Hopefully it gets here before the big day.

I saw that one on the site. No wonder your husband is excited; it’s really cool.

Your son is going to be over the moon 🙂

      Happy holidays,
