Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa isn’t just another hotel that’s close to Legoland California. It has tons of unique features that make it totally worth a visit. Just take a short stroll down the hill from the lobby of Sheraton Carlsbad and you’ll reach the private Legoland entrance for Sheraton guests.
2. 24-Hour Pool & Hot Tub
If you feel like going for a swim, day or night, the pool and hot tub are always open. I think they stole that feature from Heaven.
3. Complimentary Trolley to the Nearby Beaches of Carlsbad
If you don’t have a car – no problem. If you don’t want to drive – no problem. If you don’t want to find parking – no problem. The complimentary trolley will deliver you to the nearby beaches in Carlsbad.

You might need this one with all of the food options at Sheraton and Legoland. Please promise me you won’t leave Carlsbad without trying Granny’s Apple Fries at Legoland. They are a must.

This goes without saying in California, but it just seems like where ever you are on the property the sunset is picture perfect.

It might be flight tickets or passes to event or experience, but I always need to print something when I’m at a hotel.

Have you seen how much hair I have? Bad shower pressure often ruins my hotel experience. Not this time! I had to stand back in the shower at Sheraton Carlsbad.
9. Blackout Curtains in the Room
Another way to ruin my hotel experience is a bright room when I’m trying to sleep at night. Is that you, Athena? I can’t tell. Pitch black and sleeping until morning is the way to go.

We’re en-route to Legoland but we didn’t book a hotel yet. We’re still 1 week away from the San Diego part of our trip. We’re going to book Sheraton tonight. I hope there is availability. This is the best way to visit and not worry about driving and parking and everything that is part of that. I’m happy that I found this post and I will be anxiously awaiting more from the area. It’s our first time visiting California so we’ll be visiting many of the popular attractions.
