Renaissance Curacao is the perfect combination of Caribbean charm and Renaissance sophistication. It offers easy access to downtown Willemstad, shopping, dining, and nightlife. It’s home to an enticing casino, state-of-the-art fitness center, infinity pool, and 8,600 square feet of event space. Undoubtedly, it’s a great place to stay but add these bucket list experiences to your trip to Renaissance Curacao and it will top the list. Here’s our Renaissance Curacao Bucket List.
Renaissance Curacao Bucket List
Number One: Drinks at Infinity Beach Bar

Casual and beachside, Infinity Beach Bar was my favorite place to sip cocktails and meet other guests. I’d suggest trying the Curacao Special with Bacardi rum, melon liqueur, banana liqueur, kiwi syrup, and pineapple juice. If a Margarita is more your taste, go with the Infinity Margarita with tequila, hypnotic, Blue Curacao, pineapple juice, and margarita mix. You can’t visit Curacao without having their signature Blue Curacao!
Number Two: The View from the Oceanfront Suites

Get a room on the forth floor and oceanside for bucket list views.
Our suite was on the corner of the property overlooking the ocean. When we opened the patio doors, we were greeted with the warm Caribbean air and a magical view of a cruise ship docked next to the resort. The sunset coupled nicely with the colors of the ship to create a picture-perfect setting.
Number Three: Infinity Pool

The infinity pool makes you feel like you’re swimming alongside a cruise ship. Bartenders from the Infinity Bar are always ready to take your drink or food order and the water is refreshing. It’s the best place to soak up the Caribbean sun.
Number Four: Xquisit Restaurant

Xquisit has an international kitchen where everything is prepared fresh by the chefs daily. Known for its steak and seafood, I opted for a Rib Eye, cooked medium rare. It’s “rare” to find a perfectly cooked steak in the Caribbean but Xquisit hit the mark. It was one of the best steaks I’d had in five years and the service paired perfectly with the food. Xquisit doesn’t disappoint.
Number Five: The Infinity Beach

I’ve been to lots of infinity pools before and they always offer spectacular views but Renaissance Curacao created an infinity beach on the second floor of the hotel, equipped with sand and salt water. It overlooks the harbor so you can basically swim next to ships and boats passing by.
Make your stay at Renaissance Curacao bucket list worthy by adding in these five experiences. I’m still dreaming about sipping drinks alongside the pool and savoring the juicy, perfectly cooked steak at Xquisit. I could dedicate an entire bucket list to Renaissance.
