We traveled to Mont Tremblant during the Tremblant International Blues Festival and we had an incredible time with endless activities. Mont Tremblant Summer Bucket List
Holiday Inn Express Tremblant
Located at the heart of Mont Tremblant village, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tremblant sits just a stone’s throw away from everything that Mont Tremblant has to offer, putting it at the top of our Mont Tremblant summer bucket list for accommodations.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tremblant isn’t just in the perfect location. It offers suites large enough to accommodate the entire family, regardless of the size. Even traveling with four adults and one child wasn’t a challenge staying at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tremblant. Our suite offered two queen beds in a closed bedroom and a sofa-bed in the living room. It also featured a full kitchen, dishwasher, and a gas fireplace. The rooms are air-conditioned, equipped with bathtub and shower, tvs in the living area and bedroom, balcony, and complimentary Wi-Fi. As if that wasn’t a lot already, we also had an adjoining upstairs room with a queen bed, table, mini fridge, and full bathroom.
Additionally, there is free Express Start™ Breakfast, sauna, outdoor whirlpool bath, and swimming pool in the summer.
Scandinave Spa Mont Tremblant

Via Scandinave Spa Mont Tremblant
Scandinave Spa Mont-Tremblant offers a traditional Scandinavian baths experience in a peaceful and natural environment. The spa’s installations are designed to relax and invigorate you and provide an escape from the stress of daily life.
The hydrotherapy experience at Scandinave Spa Mont-Tremblant begins with hot temperatures. Raising the body’s temperature dilates the blood vessels on the surface of the skin, reduces blood pressure, and increases blood flow to the skin and muscles, thus initiating a state of calmness and introspection. There are Eucalyptus steam baths, Finnish dry saunas, hot baths, and thermal waterfalls.
The hot stations are followed by cold water stations. This step causes the skin’s pores to close, shutting in the heat from step one. These refreshing stations promote a shift in blood pressure, encouraging the body to flush toxins, the muscles to release tensions, allowing you to fully engage in the benefits of the circuit. The second step includes a brief but highly beneficial cool rinse in the Diable River, Nordic waterfalls, cold plunge pools, or cool showers.
The final stage includes a 10 to 15 minute period relaxing in their solariums, hammocks, and other mid-temperature areas that include fire pits, terraces, decks, and a Zero-Gravity Pavilion. During this final step, the cardiovascular system regulates itself. After spending time in the hot and cold environments, it is recommended to rest the body to help stabilize blood flow and heart rate.
Tremblant International Blues Festival
Tremblant International Blues Festival offers more than 100 shows, most of them free, presented on 4 outdoor stages, in 8 participating resto-bars of the pedestrian village, at Église du village Church, and at Casino de Mont-Tremblant.
The 2018 festival took place from July 6 to 15 and welcomed musicians from the four corners of the world. Festival-goers and artists mingled in the intimate surroundings of the pedestrian village, while the music workshops provided another venue to interact. The friendly environment of the workshops allowed music-lovers and amateurs to learn some tricks of the trade and listen to interesting anecdotes from the artists, who also answered questions and signed autographs.
The Family Zone of the festival offered crafts, karaoke, dress-up, Blues tattoos, Blues jewellery making, interactive workshops, coloring, storytelling, and music!
The festival could be a complete Mont Tremblant Summer Bucket List in itself or a great addition to any trip.
Ziptrek Ecotours
The most remarkable adventure on our Mont Tremblant Summer Bucket List, Ziptrek Ecotours is an awe inspiring journey that allows you to soar high above the trees while zipping from the summit of the mountain back to the village. It features five distinct ziplines that total almost 4km in length.
By experiencing the complete set of ziplines, you travel the full extent of the mountain and enjoy remarkable scenery from various select vantage points. Your inspiring journey through the forest happens via a combination of ziplines, ground based trails, and observation platforms.
In order to fly on the zipline cables you are outfitted with a custom harness that is then attached to the zipline with a specialized pulley. At each aerial launch platform you step down the stairs until there is tension on the harness tethers, lift your feet, and soar down the line reaching speeds up to 100 km/hr. The harness system allows you complete freedom to move, take a look around, and even enjoy your zipline ride hanging upside down.
Equally remarkable, the staff at Ziptrek Ecotours make the adventure even more memorable. Our age group ranged from age seven to age seventy-seven and the staff made us feel comfortable and capable every step of the way.
Tonga Lumina
Legend has it that a sleeping giant calls Mont Tremblant home, and that upon each of his awakenings, his descendants would return to this sacred land to seek out his ancient wisdom. Now in our modern times, as the forest is cloaked in shades of green, the giant beckons to us as well. Donning the amulet of the forgotten people, curious, observant spirits follow a mysterious path deep into the heart of the mountain to discover the secret he wishes to share.
Tonga Lumina is a night walk in search of the giant. Clues left along the winding path will guide you into the heart of this mysterious mountain.
Skyline Luge Mont Tremblant
One of the most thrilling Mont Tremblant summer bucket list attractions, Skyline Luge is a gravity-fuelled ride that provides riders full control over their descent on purpose-built track. This twisting and turning luge ride descends through a forest and offers scenic alpine views.
Children must be at least 110 cm tall to be allowed to ride the Luge alone, but if they are under the minimum height they can ride the Luge in tandem, with an adult, making it an adventure for the whole family.
Activity Card
The Mont Tremblant Activity Card is your pass to adventure and some of the best Mont Tremblant summer bucket list activities. You can get 3, 5 or 7 accesses to activities for the whole family.
