Since moving into our new home in Frisco, Texas we want to fill it with things that make us happy and provide joy for the whole family. When someone walks into our home, we want them to feel the love and comfort that we feel every day that we are there. Currently, we are working on our movie room. With movie theater seating, a flat screen tv, a sound system, cozy blankets and pillows, and access to video games and movies (including a Pop-A-Shot Home Duel Shot), a popcorn cart was next on our family room list. That’s why we opted for the Nostalgia Vintage Popcorn Cart. There’s nothing better than watching a movie or playing games in the family room with homemade popcorn. It’s like going to the theater yet you don’t have to leave your own home.
With a vintage look reminiscent of silent movie houses and carnivals of the 1900s, the Nostalgia Vintage Popcorn Cart is a classic addition to any home. Featuring a large 8-ounce kettle with built-in stirring system, this unit pops up to 32 cups of movie theater-style popcorn per batch to keep popcorn buckets full. The stainless steel kettle can be removed for easy cleaning. Tempered glass windows are designed to resist breakage while being scratch and heat resistant to keep you and your family safe. A convenient utility shelf is perfect for popcorn preparation. Plus, keep all your popcorn essentials on hand in the convenient storage compartment. The lighted interior creates a fun and pleasant room ambiance, and allows you to watch your popcorn pop. Outfitted with a tilt-out drop door, scooping and serving popcorn is easy and you can catch unpopped kernels in the kernel catcher tray to keep each batch perfect for serving. The 13-inch bicycle-style rubber wheels and a pull handle make it easy to maneuver the popcorn cart and you can remove the main unit from the bottom cart to concert it into a convenient tabletop model if needed. Accessories include a kernel measuring cup, oil measuring spoon, and metal popcorn scoop for precise measuring and easy serving.
Not only is the Nostalgia Vintage Popcorn Cart perfect for making popcorn, it looks beautiful in the room and pairs well with the other furniture. Even when we’re not making popcorn, we use the light on the machine to provide subtle lighting during movie watching.
We’d like to add a home bar complete with mini fridge, shelving for drinks and glasses, and a section for our pebble ice machine. Eventually soundproofing would be ideal too since Baby Smith arrives in April. A nice-to-have addition would be a table for playing games and cards but we haven’t quite figured out how to fit that just yet. What else are we missing? What makes your movie room feel extra special for you? Before moving into this house, I wanted to travel all the time but with a house that I love, I often find myself completely happy at home.
