5 Reasons to Stay at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort And Spa
5-Acre Water Park
At Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort And Spa, you can float in a winding and shaded lazy river, swim in a number of outdoor pools, including an activity pool and a Texas-shaped pool, play on a sandy beach or relax in one of two hot tubs. You can ride the 2-story waterslide or test your surfing skills and bodyboarding skills on a FlowRider Wave Machine. The 5-acre water park offers relaxation and excitement for all age levels and abilities.
The FlowRider Wave Machine was our favorite part of the waterpark. Neither of us had tried it before. I loved bodyboarding and relaxing in the waves. It reminded my of my childhood catching waves at the beach with my family. Cord enjoyed testing his skills while kneeling on the board, doing flips, and trying any other trick that the instructor threw at him.
Resort Recreational Activities
In addition to the 5-acre waterpark, the resort offers year-round activities for everyone, including bicycles, biking and walking trails, sand volleyball, tennis, evening s’mores and much more.
During our stay, we participated in the evening s’mores making around the fire pit and watched a movie on the lawn. Even with a newborn, there were plenty of activities that we could enjoy.
Guest Rooms
Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort And Spa offers 500 stylish rooms, including 58 suites. All rooms feature rustic decor to complement the picturesque Hill Country area. Their suites provide an added layer of comfort and space with many featuring a private patio or balcony to enjoy sweeping countryside views.
What we loved about our room is that there was plenty of counter space to make a changing station for Max. The beds and pillows were comfortable and there was space to work or relax. We had a lovely view of a large lawn and sprawling trees and we could see the FlowRider Wave Machine in the distance.
Springhouse Cafe
You can enjoy multiple restaurants, bars, and poolside service options that are all delicious, but Springhouse Cafe offered a dinner that I won’t soon forget. Their beef brisket over potatoes and seasonal vegetables was the most moist and delicious brisket I ate since moving to Texas, and Texas knows brisket.
Natural Beauty
Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort And Spa is a secluded resort with massive trees and flowers bursting with color. There are quaint paths and brightly colored barns and food left out for the squirrels. When you’re strolling along the paths at sunset, it seems worlds away. It’s the peaceful getaway that so many of us need.
