It’s a beautiful world, and anyone who tells you any differently is lying. Since the majority of us live in urban areas, we tend to think that the world is largely “built up,” but this isn’t the case. The vast majority of the world is natural and a wonderful place for nature lovers to explore. Indeed, if you were to be dropped into a random point on earth, the chances of you seeing a building, or a person, would be highly unlikely.

So there’s much to discover. And if you’re a nature lover, then that’s just what you want to hear. We have a few amazing destination suggestions for nature lovers. If you’re looking to take a trip, then it could be one of these destinations that you think about!

The Best Destinations For Nature Lovers

Scandinavia

Scandinavia often flies under the radar. It doesn’t get too involved politically, and they only have small populations. And another thing that they most definitely have is outstanding nature in abundance. Sweden and Norway, in particular, are ideal places for people who love exploring the outdoors. If you’re a fan of lakes and trees, then choose Sweden. If you like epic mountains and fjords, then choose Norway. The further north you go, the more dramatic the landscape will become. If you really want to test yourself, you could go all the way to Svalbard, a small island with polar bears that is just about as awesome a destination as they come.

The South of Argentina

Antarctica would be a good option for nature lovers. However, it’s also not that realistic for most people. You can get pretty close to the end of the world, however, by visiting the Patagonia region in the south of Argentina. You’ll find everything you need to have an amazing time out in the world. And while you’re in that part of the world, you could always head over to Chile — the Torres Del Paine hike is especially recommended.

North America

Alberta, Canada

North America has a lot going for it in general, including some of the best nature you’ll find anywhere on earth.

If you take a Canada road trip, you’ll go through all kinds of different landscapes: lakes, mountains, beaches, and so much more await in Canada. Your Canadian bucket list can be filled with the perfect spots for nature lovers. It’s a level of beauty that few other places on earth can match.

In the states, there’s beauty everywhere — if you’re looking for something that’s dramatic and awe-inspiring, stick to the southwest part. If you’re into your coastlines and trees, then the Pacific Northwest will be a good option.

Vietnam

If you’re looking for something a bit different, and certainly a bit warmer than most places on this list, then you could take a trip to Vietnam. Ha Long Bay isn’t exactly off the beaten path, but it does draw many thousands of visitors each year for a reason: it’s exceptionally beautiful. That’s the star of the show in Vietnam, but it’s not the only beautiful place. Indeed, head away from the main cities, and it won’t be long before you come across some beautiful places!
