The Mercado Central is a vibrant and sensory-filled experience. We strolled through the bustling market stalls, where Max delighted in the array of colors, scents, and sounds. He eagerly pointed out tropical fruits, and we sampled fresh slices of juicy mangoes and tasted buttery corn. As we browsed through handicrafts and souvenirs, Max loved calling out all of the colors that filled the market. It was a fantastic opportunity for cultural immersion and an excellent place to find unique keepsakes.
One of our favorite activities while walking through the streets was spending time in front of the majestic Catedral de León, an architectural gem that dominates the city’s skyline. We bought a bag of birdseed and sat on the steps of the cathedral, where Max had an absolute blast feeding the friendly pigeons that gathered around us. His giggles filled the air as the pigeons landed all around him, creating precious moments of joy and wonder.
